His shots look smooth and very repeatable. He also appears to be in great shape as well.

We will get a look at him next summer, and he will look even better by then if he could possibly
grow a couple of inches while playing in China.

I agree about his shot mechanics. The ball is held way over his head, a big plus for a still-undersized PF with a big wingspan, and not a lot of superfluous motion (unlike "you know who").

Another big plus is that neither Yabulsele nor Zizic HAVE to come over next year. They both look good, but if Danny pulls off a coup and gets a player much better than them (Boogie?) but guts our back court to get them then his roster search will be for back court players and not them.

We'll have to eventually get him back here against stronger US competition to judge if we have anything, but at least it appears he's building his game up.

Yabs followed his season debut with 21 points (6/14 FG, 4/7 3FGm 5/6 FT), 12 rebounds, 1 block in 26+ minutes off the bench in Sharks 2nd win of the season. They went up against Jiangsu Tong Xi who had ex-NBA players Jared Cunningham and DeJuan Blair

Great to see. Thanks for sharing. That shot is the most encouraging thing about the clips b/c it is the most transferable to the NBA. The activity around the rim was nice, and he looks very strong, but the competition was so bad there is likely no way he can have those kind of results against real rim-protection. Would have liked to have seen some defense. All in all, obviously great to see him doing well vs. anybody. The Baby Dray Green (or maybe Anthony Mason with a 3 point shot) comparisons seem to work well.
