Game 3 win

Okay this win was great!! But what I dont want to hear is "This team is better without Isaiah". You know its coming...

How about, "this team is better without an injured, limping Isaiah shooting and driving with one leg under him"?

There's EXACT historical precedent. 2012 when Rondo went down and the Heatles were the next game, and we won by 2 points:

Maybe, but I cant fault him for giving everything he has and we didnt get blown out because of it.

Disagree. I don't think they are tired, they had a lot of rest waiting for us to polish off the Wizards. Nor do I think they are scared. They are up 2-1 and have the home court advantage. They had an off-game, perhaps from overconfidence, taking a premature victory lap.

I agree with you 100% Bob.
It looked like Cleveland and mostly Lebron was waiting for Boston to roll over and die.
To their surprise, Boston kept fighting, especially in the last 18 minutes.
I would be very surprised if Cleveland comes out in game 4 with the same lack of fire.

If any team is tired, it should be the Celtics.

It wasn't a pre-mature victory lap, it was just a silly post-victory comment.

We're inside their heads. LeBron snapped at a fan, then snapped at a reporter. The difference between LeBron having to switch onto Smart vs getting to switch onto IT is like the difference between a mountain and a molehill.

Our offense is now much less predictable, and when somebody gets hot, the ball is much more likely to find them than when IT is on the court.

That's the problem with a ball dominant scorer, they make an offense much more predictable, and all the role players don't get to find a good rhythm or be rewarded when they make a couple shots in a row.

A lot of people want to trade Crowder just for the sake of trading Crowder, and add a couple ball dominant, poor defending "stars" to this team. But we didn't win last night by getting into a shootout. We won by playing great defense, holding them to 41 second half points, and being unpredictable and energetic and tough as nails.

If you think the Celtics can't beat the Cavs another game or three, keep sleeping.

Personally I don't think we do win another. But that's why they play the games.
