I saw that. I however do not believe he will be the top pick because 2018 will be the draft for bigs. He could come in between #5-#10

Maybe one of the reasons why he's ranked so highly is because the players immediately behind him are currently High School seniors, playing against kids many of whom might play some college ball and that's it, while Doncic is playing with and against grown men.

Next year those HS seniors will have a year of NCAA ball behind them and they will be much more heavily scouted. Doncic will have another year of experience too, of course, but there's nowhere for him to go from #1 except down.

Asked NBA folks about where Luka Doncic & Michael Porter Jr. would be in this draft. Consensus was just behind Markelle Fultz at 2 & 3.

Depending on the year he has next year as well as the soon to be one and done crowd will determine his place in the draft.

I' m certain we will be checking in on his progress throughout the year

Agree completely. There will be little interest in anyone other than a big. Brooklyn may sign a mercenary or two but they are headed for the lotto again and therefore we are too.

Agree,but if the first pick is for a team like Sacramento I am sure Doncic will be the selection.

Good news is Celts will have a shot at Doncic.
