I would tend to disagree. Terry has a lot to prove. Can he actually run an offense and consistently knock down jumpers? His defense and rebounding are a given but I have not been convinced that he is a good PG. He should be out there with Jaylen and Tatum. At least Jackson should get a good run.

I imagine the Celtics are going into the Summer League with an idea as to who they want to see play and how many minutes they want to them play.  Rozier and Mickey are known entities to them and the Celtics don't want to waste their first opportunity to see their new guys on those two.

Can't find any info on his wingspan. Found a site that says his strengths are rebounding and finishing around the glass. His weaknesses include virtually any outside game and an inability to cover quick players on defense. He's an old-school 5. Not the type of player that would excel in Brad's system, but maybe beggars can't be choosers.

Too Bad Yabu will not be able to play during summer league.

I'm pretty pumped to see Brown and Tatum play together and our other rookie Semi. This will be the first chance for Boston to see how these guys can pay together. And I forgot to mention Zizic.

Jaylen has a new friend☘️

I went back and watched a collection of videos.  

One skill that really stands out is his rebounding technique,  length quickness.

He plays well in the P and R but not much pick and pop which has become a staple for our offense.  Can he also do that?

I also like how he runs the floor but I always felt that Zeller also does that.

He seems to challenge shots at the rim.

I however did not see much perimeter defensive activity.  

So there is a lot of good but also several question marks.

I am sure that the little footwork drill in the video is fairly recent, and if it is he does not look ready to participate in any full court activities yet.

With proper supervision and recovery he will be ready for training camp.  The Cs have a pattern of not pushing rehabs, so this is just another example even though we would all like to see him sooner rather than later.

At least he still looks to be in excellent condition and has not gained any useless weight (which was a concern of mine).  He will show us what he has in September.

The videos were taken today by the press at the summer league workouts. He will be with the team in Utah and Vegas, but will not play. At least he'll be bonding, maybe playing a little in practice, and learning the plays.

I agree about the weight issue. Guys that size need to be active or they start packing'em on.

What are the chances that Yabu makes the roster this year?

He can rebound the basketball and so can Zizic. Our rookie Tatum can also rebound.

Big surprise for the summer will be Semi. People will be shocked at how good this kid is. First round talent falls into our lap in the 2nd round. This kid can flat out shoot the rock and is already physically developed.
