Every time I see a projected 15 man roster for the Cs for next season I seem to see Hayward's name on them all.

With the current CBA, is it any where realistic to think that Hayward is going to pass up about $10M per season over the
next five years of his NBA career?

If he were terribly upset with his stay in Utah, Utah was a bottom level team and he really wanted to play again for his
college coach perhaps he would take a discount of some sort to play in Boston.

Utah being a bad team and Hayward being upset there just do not seem to have any truth to them.  I just do not see
where changing teams to play for your former college coach could possibly be worth $10M per season.

I have read that his wife might like to live in Boston.   Good for her, and in time she can live anywhere she wants.  But,
for the sake of no one in their family ever having to work a day in their lives staying in Utah (actually very pretty out there)
for five more years is not a reason to leave Salt Lake City.  In five years Hayward will only be 33 so they both will have plenty
of years to live in Boston/New England.

With the Zingus opportunity popping up we could end up with both of them.

about answer your question..... I do not see him leaving Utah and taking a really big hit on the cash! This in all likelyhood will be his last BIG time contract.

in 30 days or so we will have an answer to this question.

isn't he expected to sign a 3+1 deal and look to sign his biggest contract in 2020 when he's 30?

kyle,

Such a move by Hayward would really be a big gamble on his part.

Just can't imagine it. He is young, married,,has a family. $50 million give away??? No way.  No guarantees he will be headed to the Eastern Conference finals or for that matter, the finals.  I do believe some of the players in the West will leave for Eastern division teams to at least have a better shot at playooffs.

Thursday can't come soon enough, and then July 1
