Brook Lopez is the only player in NBA history to average 20ppg and have at least 120 blocks and 120 3 pointers in a season. Kind of interesting.

Brook Lopez has 137 career three-pointers.  134 of 'em came last season.  He shot 34.6% on them.  About the league average.  Maybe a bit above.

Now will the Lakers waive and  STRETCH Deng to save another 10 mil per year?

They won't stretch Deng unless they need to do so if they can sign a top free agent.
Hopefully Deng bounces back and has a better year, but I'm not counting on it.

IND, I think is holding out for #2. LAL is trying to get another lottery pick. Don't know how they can do that. If Russell only got them #27, do they really feel they have anyone else that could get them a lottery pick?

I think LaMarcus Aldridge for Paul George if very fair.

For Russell, LA received the best player in the trade (Lopez), the 27th pick and were able to unload Mozgov's contract.

LA should not and probably will not trade the #2 pick for Paul George.
Magic has said numerous times, that it's about next year, not this year.
I believe he will stick to that.

TJ,

would YOU trade Ingram with #27 & 28 for George?

Definitely not.
I think LA might consider it if Indy took Deng also.

I would trade any combination of Clarkson, Brewer, Nance, 27, 28
or Randle, Brown, Brewer, 27, 28.

Indy can pick from Randle, Clarkson, Brown, Brewer, Nwaba, Nance, 27, 28, future 2nd round pick.

IF Paul gets traded to LA, I think it will be for Randle, Clarkson, 27 and 28.

MY NOTE:  Whoa!  Damn, Magic!  Why don't you tell us how you really feel!  How about "And don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out".  I'm surprised at Magic, quite frankly, he's usually a very classy guy, but this was NOT.

The #2 pick in 2015 was between Okafor and Russell.
Randle played one game and was the Lakers PF of the future.
Nobody was saying they should take another PF in Porzingis over a PG which they desperately needed.
Of course I would have liked Booker but many teams passed on him.
I still think LA would pick Russell over Okafor.

The draft is indeed such a crap shoot:

2015

1. Minnesota Timberwolves - Karl-Anthony Towns, Kentucky

2. Los Angeles Lakers - D'Angelo Russell, Ohio State

3. Philadelphia 76ers - Jahlil Okafor, Duke

4. New York Knicks - Kristaps Porzingis, Latvia

5. Orlando Magic - Mario Hezonja, Croatia

6. Sacramento Kings - Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky

7. Denver Nuggets - Emmanuel Mudiay, Congo

8. Detroit Pistons - Stanley Johnson, Arizona

9. Charlotte Hornets - Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin

10. Miami Heat - Justise Winslow, Duke

11. Indiana Pacers - Myles Turner, Texas

12. Utah Jazz - Trey Lyles, Kentucky

13. Phoenix Suns - Devin Booker, Kentucky

14. Oklahoma City Thunder - Cameron Payne, Murray State

Worcester,

Redo this draft, as of today:

1.  KAT
2.  Porzingis
3.  Turner
4.  Booker
5.  Okafor
6.  Johnson
7.  WCS
8.  Kaminsky
9.  Lyles
10. Mudiay
11. Winslow
12. Hezonja
13. Russell
14. Payne

A VERY deep draft for bigs, not so much for guards and wings.

Bob,

This is not close to being accurate in my opinion.
Hezonja and Mudiay are terrible are rarely get off the bench.
Russell should be #5 or 6.
Lyles should be higher.
Stanley Johnson should be much lower.

Order doesn't really matter, but I think Russell will end up being the #2 guard in that draft after Booker. However you want to place the bigs is okay with me
