Jackson with a good game on both ends. Might have redeemed himself.

Jabari Bird with a great game. 15 points on 7-10, 8 rebounds.

Zizic with his best game yet. Solid on both ends. 12 points on 5-7 and 13 rebounds in just 17 minutes. 5 TOs isn't that good but it's still new to him. He did what he does, though, he just muscled his way.

Semi with an ok game. He's shown stuff this summer, so he's on the right side of the bubble, at least for a 2-way contract if nothing else.

Lucas with some decent rebounding. We could always use help there.

Everybody else is roadkill.

Finally saw the game on NBA TV delayed, Zizic looked great, he is not graceful or pretty, but in limited minutes he really produced, love his numbers. He has a ferocity and determination to do the dirty work that is constant and exactly what this team needs. Bird showing maybe he has a shot to at least go to the GL, he can defend and has some decent size for a 2, he's showing he's hungry and might be further developed to be an asset. Jackson had his best game and Jaylen had some really good defense before being nicked. Tatum had some polished grown man moves.

Jaylen was playing well when he got injured. He was working hard and making his teammates better.

I think we are all starting to be more clear on what Ante brings to the table. Not pretty but gets the job done. I'm so glad Danny listened to us and has brought in two other bigs to take the pressure off. There is still going to be a lot of work that needs to be done to get the foreign players up to speed on the NBA game. Really looking forward to see what DT brings and of course, can't wait to see the Dancing Bear back in green.

Danny could still shake things up more before training camp or even at the trading deadline but I am much happier with the way the team looks now as opposed to two weeks ago. If they remain competitive this will be Danny's most impressive season to date. He has had to work overtime to get all the pieces to come together. When he brought KG and RA in there was nothing like the upheaval of bringing in 3 foreign rookies who will need to develop and produce if we are to advance to the Finals this season. Plus he is adding at least two more draft rookies to the mix over all that came in last season.

Pretty amazing to rebuild on the fly while remaining competitive and then to do a major roster overhaul on a team that made the ECF last season.

Cow- I watched the game last night on ESPN2, they are all over the place with these games, it is hard to keep track of them. In the beginning they were on Comcast, then Only NBA channel (so hard to keep up with them), Then the other day I bumped into them on ESPN2. I do not understand what the heck is going on.

Now that the "tournament" is starting keeping track will drive me nuts. I missed a good portion of the LA game because I kept watching for it on one channel and it was on another!!!

Rosalie,

Hopefully the game time and network will be indicated on the Game On! thread. They have been on NBA-TV, ESPN, ESPN2 and sometimes on CSNNE (your local Comcast). Our next game is tomorrow night (13th) because we are a high seed. Our opponent hasn't been decided yet. We will play one of the winners of the games that are played tonight (lower seeds).

Stay tuned!!

This is the 2nd game that we saw Zizic play well. He will be our 3rd string center. He will need to work on his ball handling skills and his mid-range game.

Jackson finally seemed to play well on offense. His defense has been good.

I also expect Bird to make the team. Lucas has shown a few flashes.

I think Waltah has done a very good job coaching especially with in game adjustments.

I must savor every game because once the summer league is over it will be 3 months before we see the Celtics on the court again.

At least my Patriots will be going to camp soon and preseason football will be here.

Don't remind me!!! I think I will have severe withdrawal symptoms!!!

With the longer playoff run, the draft, and the free agency leading to the summer league we have been kept amused daily with new stories. If DA
is truly done for a while, it could get very very boring!
