Greg Monroe or John Henson anyone?
Say this for the Milwaukee Bucks, they are a persistent bunch. According to sources, the Bucks are still actively trying to trade veteran centers Greg Monroe and John Henson, two players who have seen their roles with the team diminish. Monroe started 67 games for the Bucks after he signed with them two seasons ago before being relegated to the bench for what Bucks coach Jason Kidd said was an attempt to bolster the team’s off-the-bench scoring. Monroe hasn’t started a single game since and been the subject of constant trade rumors. – via Woelfel's Press Box
Trade, Greg Monroe, John Henson, Milwaukee Bucks
Kinda hard to make a trade work for either one without a third team to be honest, even if there was interest on Danny's part.
Henson is a shot blocker and a rebounder, but he's been an 18 min per game player mostly. 27YO with two years after this one on his deal at 11.4M, 10.5M and 9.7M

kdp,
As you said, hard to make a deal work here.
Henson would be intriguing considering our need for rebounding and defense.

Monroe and Henson on last year of contract at $17.8m and $11.4M
I see no fit for either of them on this team.
Boston while well on the road to their goal is still at least one more player away. They need to add a 4th bigtime scorer. That could come from a trade or maybe one of our pups (Jaylen or Jayson) explode this year.

Trying to make dinosaurs fit in with a hybrid offense is just not how the NBA is trending. Neither of these guys were terrible players even a couple of years ago, but now their styles just do not fit.
How long does this new trend continue? Not sure, but at least until Golden State falls off the top of the mountain. Guys like this will be lucky to hang onto their current contracts and maybe hope to find a way to hang on to a roster spot at some time maybe in Europe or China.

Henson has three years left as I pointed out in the original post.

Those two will just be a waste of time and money.
