Some major changes, if approved.

If the Lakers pick doesn't convey next summer, then these changes may benefit us. Sacto is usually bad, but not the worst; hence, the odds of getting a good draft position from this pick may be better. Similary, the Grizzlies probably won't be absolute bottom dwellars by the time we get their pick.

I'm not a fan of tanking. At all. But I'm also concerned about the prospect of letting the rich get richer through the draft.

How does this impact the ability of smaller market teams to recruit free agents? The draft is a lottery team's best chance to get better.

My question is this: how is the NBA against tanking but in favor of super teams? Much of the parity has been lost and I don't see this changing any time soon.
