Blake Griffin out for "up to eight weeks."

Was counting on the Clips to have a better record than the Lakers. Now it doesn't look possible.
That's a terrible team without Griffin. They weren't even any good with him. Doc is in for a loooooong season.

Blake re-uped with the Cippers for big money and here he is injured again.
The clippers have no where to go but down. Lucky for them they have a deep pocket owner but even with that they have few attractive assets to improve the team. They will either slip into the playoffs or head to the Lottery. They are playing like a lottery team.
Wonder if Doc is ready to be part of a rebuilding project.

Doc may not have a choice but he is signed 2018-2019 and the Clips should be at rock bottom by them.
They better hope that they can move Jordan before his opt out year comes. With Griffin on board for big money along with Gallinari, it makes no sense to keep Jordan. This team does not have a lot of draft assets either. They pretty much will need to move one of their top 3 players. Griffin should now officially have a red tag that states NO WARRANTY. Gallinari is well passed his expiration date so that leaves Jordan as the likely candidate to be traded.
Once Chris Paul left this team they were no longer a top 10 Team. Beverly has been lost for the year so that pretty much leaves the bulk of the scoring to Austin and the hired gun, Lou Williams.

That owner won't hold on to Doc for the next season. He is one of those guys who moves fast so Doc may not even see it coming. Although, Doc is not stupid. He will hold on for the money if he can.
What a mess. Blake Griffin will never be the player he could have been without all those injuries. It is too bad because he is a talented kid. Jordan is probably wishing he took that Dallas deal, not that they are any better.

Too bad that the NBA has now lost another of its star players for a long period of time. Some guys are just injury prone and Griffin seems to certainly be one of them.
This does not help the Cs at all. Since the Clippers have already been struggling additional losses (without their best player) probably pushes the Lakers out of the top five picks in the next draft.
