Theis has 4 points on 1- and 2-2 fts and 4 rebs in 6 minutes. That's pretty damn efficient.

Smart looks good, so active.  Think he missed the game a bit?  Hope he learned a big lesson

I like Smart dunking. I have confidence he can hit that shot game after game. :-)

C's "D" limiting NY to 1 shot and no offensive rebounds. Great ball movement from the C's down the other end.

Smart is Holyfield and dropped a weight class to more fit his height.

Bob, this is what Danny must do to defend the roster against the business side. I think the C's are going to resign Marcus now no matter what and go into the luxury tax. I've seen enough to declare the opinion Smart is way better than before as if hitting the painting was the best thing that could have ever happened to him.

edit- find guys like Theis. Danny needs moves like that to attempt for a dynasty.

Smart can accept the qualifying offer, which would keep him for another year but then he's an unrestricted FA, or he can sign a longterm contract. Danny can match, and I know that, unlike last year's Hayward signing, we're not going to have another big free agent signing that will mandate releasing players for nothing.

That's not a foul. It wasn't even a flop. He was out of control and fell down.

Make up call in 1, 2, 3 . . .

I think something has shifted for the better in terms of long-term for the season and that sixty wins is back in play.

If he plays this well in the last bunch of games before the playoffs, and  plays well in the playoffs, his value that everyone thought suffered with his stupidity, will be up there.  He is an asset that would be foolish to lose

Precisely. The question has only been would it be worth it to unconditionally match no matter what. I think it's obviously now yes. The eye test shows he is a changed player. He will be able to compete on offense like he did in college.

I am not greedy for tonight as it is a back to back. Just win.

We can safely assume Brad isn't happy about giving up 32 points in the 2nd quarter to these bums...

The halftime game is Asian kids playing basketball. Maybe that's why there is Chinese audio.

My thoughts exactly - too small of a sample and too soon to be conclusive.

No, it's a celebration of Chinese New Year, which was actually 2/16. Year of the Dog. Probably a Shar-pei

I am sure Danny pretty much knows what way they are going with Smart. He has been around long enough that they know what  he is capable of.  The fact that he has lost the weight and kept it off is a plus for him. He is listening to what they are saying, except for not punching mirrors with your hand
