Back in 1942-43 the University of Illinois basketball team was nicknamed "THE WHIZ kIDS" and ln 1950-51 the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team was also labeled as the WHIZ KIDS. They were young indeed but when compared to their peers - no match for the present group of young Celtic players. Right now I am checking out, TEAM BY TEAM, each NBA CHAMP since 1951-52 to see which nba team was the least experienced champ. Sort of a measuring stick to gauge the present non champ standing of the Celts.
