There are no lakes in LA. Tar pits, yes, but no lakes. No Jazz in Utah either. Hornets in NC for sure. My daughter got stung by one there. Pistons in Detroit for sure. But no lakes in LA.

It is obviously the Irish who are pronouncing Celtic wrong.

Take it from one who has had to explain the proper pronunciation of Worcester all his life...

TJ I just read back to some of the posts, Congratulations on your wedding. Hope you are both happy and that your daughter is fully recovered. Grad school huh? What is her major? My daughter graduated from BC with a masters in Criminology and Sociology. She is in private practice now as a therapist and yoga/wellness coach. I swear she would stay in school forever if she could.

It sounds like your daughter is doing great too!
My daughter graduated with a degree in public health and will go to grad school for Epidemiology (infectious diseases).
Grad school will now have to wait because I found out on Monday that she accepted a new opportunity in the Peace Corps in Ecuador.
She likes Ecuador a lot and has been there a bunch of times because her grandmother lives there.
She will leave in May for 27 months.
The Lakers will be vacationing for weeks when she leaves for her assignment...
Can the season end now for the Lakers?

They have really good depth now with Faried and Shumpert, they can win without Harden going crazy every game. The guy that makes them go is Chris Paul.

One thing this article points out is that even if Memphis finishes in the 7th spot (the pick is top eight protected), if two teams jump over them on lottery day, we still get their pick (at #9). If not this year, it could be a better pick in 2020 (top 6 protected) or 2021 (unprotected).

As of right now here's the statistical percentages for Boston to have one or two lottery picks in June's draft:

Memphis pick. They currently would draft at #7.
#9 - 12.9%
#10 - 1.3%
#11 - >0.1%

Sacramento pick. They currently would draft at #14.
#2 - 0.6%
#3 - 0.6%
#4 - 0.7%
#14 - 97.6%

He was very underrated coming out of college. You just never know. The NBA game is a good fit for him. It looks like he will miss round one. It will be interesting to see how they play without him. He has averaged over 15 Per game shooting 42% from deep and 92% from the line (team highs)

I do not think they can win without this kid. He is that good.
