There are a lot of players that get over-exposed like a film that saw the light of day and then there are those rare birds that go unnoticed.

Guess who is having a great year?

Nikola Vucevic, the under-appreciated center for the Orlando Magic.

Career highs 20.2 PPG, 12 rebounds, 3.7 assists 1.03 steals and 1.15 blocks per game.

Not enough?

How about .393% from deep on 3.1 attempts per game. Beat him up and send him to the line? Not a problem as he is shooting .833 on free throws.

When anyone talks about really quality centers Nikola's name is never mentioned. I guess people only associate Orlando with an over-priced family vacation at DisneyWorld.

They have been building and rebuilding and rebuilding since Shaq headed West.

They also got Aaron Gordon who is a more than adequate # 2 or 3 guy averaging 15.2 PPG along with 7.5 rebounds (more than any Celtic) and he dishes out 3.3 assist per game. He shoots.357 from deep. Ross the former Celtics' killer from Toronto, D J Augustin and Evan Fournier round out their starting 5.

They drafted Mo Bama ( not Obama) and he has been a capable shooter from away from the basket. His length and athleticism is a given.

This is a road game and a very important one. The Celtics begin part II of a season that has been filled with more uncertainties than the stock market.

We need the damn win. Let's go get it.

I forgot to mention that the Magic beat the Celtics in game #4. The score was 93-90.

Vucevic went for 24 points and 12 rebounds. Celtics were dreadful going 9 for 40 from deep or 22.5%

Dboss I had no idea Vucevic was so productive, I know Al does a lot of good things that don’t always show up on the stat line, but I can’t imagine how scary great we would be if we had a force like that at the 5.

He is an underated player no one ever mentions him. He would be a great fit on this team.
