Looks great, NYC. I'll have to miss and tape the first part of this game, as I can't ignore two consecutive family obligations. Last night was strike one, and I prefer to remain married this time around.

I don't know whether gyso will be assuming contest duties. But, if not, let the entries begin, and I should arrive during the second half.

Thanks, and go Celts!

Sam NYC and all little off topic but I thought I'd throw it in here.

Took Marcus to get his physical for hoops.

Aside from the female Dr. doing the exam. I'll leave that out!.........when he got on the scales..............well (I as in we as parents) were under the mistaken impression he was about 180 well when i saw the 200 lbs weight get slid over and the bat still went up i was thinking what the heck! He topped it off at 209. And then we had the height bar deal and yes it was sticky and she did the Too Tall Jones bit and pulled it completely out. After all the formalities he topped it off at 6' 1/2"

His sesaon will start the first week of December!

He shouldn't get pushed around too much this year!

Sam,

Didn't we tell 'em we had to catch the ball-games when we married 'em? Yeah, I know my wife's answer to that one too.

I may be here on and off for the first as well, but should be firmly entrenched by the second. I'm sure everyone will miss us (was that laughter I just heard?).

Beat,

Add a little positioning to the size and Marcus ought to own a bit of that low-post this year! Maybe he'll want to start evicting others from the paint.

Regards

beat,

Hefty Lefty indeed!!

Sam & NYCelt,

I won't be able to monitor the contest at this time. I cannot guarantee that I will be 'live' at the end of the 3rd quarter. Last night, for instance, I was just coming out of halftime (on the DVR) when the contest closed. Thanks to your warning, I was able to sneak in the winning guess!!!

I may be in and out of the Game On thread, but any posts I make will probably be behind actual game time.

With the early games, this will be the case. I plan to spend the early parts of the evening with Mrs. Gyso. For the late games out west, I may be able to watch the games closer to live (and assume contest monitoring duties) as my better half will have retired for the evening well before game time.

gyso

PS: I'll start out with lucky 166 for the contest tonight.

OK gents, I'll have to depart for a short while but will be back in a bit.

Let me join gyso and Matty in the early going with my guess of 180, sort of splitting the difference.

Well nearly tip off for game 2......................2-0 here we go!!

I'll suggest the shooting is just a bit better than last eve, hopefully not for the Cavs however. 205 should just about do it!

Just hope its not a letdown game.
