Celtics "Word Cloud" based on minutes played
Here is a word cloud based on minutes played for the Celtics.

The larger names are players who played more, the smaller names are players who played less

Here is another interesting chart based on player age:
I guess that we are NOT the oldest team. The Age Weighed for Minutes Played would be much less if Perk were playing.

Re: Celtics "Word Cloud" based on minutes played
gyso,
Nice to see a stat that actually takes context into account (namely the weighting of age by minutes played).
When I compare the age chart with the Celtics ages shown in BasketballReference.com, a couple of interesting facts emerge:
1. While the Celtics' average age is 29, no one on the team is exactly 29 years old (an interesting commentary on the representativeness of averages).
2. Some people might consider 28-29 to be the prime years of a player's life. The Celtics have no one in that category. There's an old song called, "You're Either Too Young or Too Old," and statistically they may fit that title. More likely, however, is the probability that the combination of the relatively young and the relatively old ("Ain't no Mister in-between," as the song goes) is an ideal blend of solid leadership and expedited adaptation material.
All very interesting. Thanks for posting these charts.

GYSO
I had to enlarge the poster quite a bit to make out the smaller names. The real small names are so blurry by the time you enlarge them you can't read um anyway.
Interesting to look at other teams to.
As to the age thing the middle of all teams seems to be about 26 yrs of age.
Wonder how much the leaguewide age varies from year to year. Also if you were to put w/l records next to the age poster seems the more successful teams are older. Nothing like a couple of vets on a roster? Celtic fans are well aware of that!
