The criterion for winning a given Game On contest will vary from game to game and will be announced early in the game. One game, the criterion might be total points for both teams (which has been the only criterion so far this season). The next game, it might be last year’s criterion (number of points required to win the game). The next game, it might be the number of hairs on Sam’s head (pretty easy to count). The next game, it might be the exact time at which Rondo records his last assist in the game. We’ll try to keep the criteria varied and interesting.

Sam will announce the criterion for the Game On! contest during the first quarter.

Post your entry on this thread before the fourth quarter begins, unless Sam specifies otherwise.

Check out GameChannel to track the stats of any game being played tonight.

To get there, first wait for the game to start. Then follow the Yahoo Game Preview link provided in the following post.

Using the Yahoo Game Preview link, you will find:

Preview Boxscore GameChannel

Pick GameChannel, wait for it to load. It may take a while, but it is worth it.

Down the right side, there is play-by-play. You can pick any quarter and move the side bar to move up or down. At the top is all the other games playing that night. You can pick any of the games and switch over to it.

Game Info shows simple stats and shot location.

Box Score gives multiple stats, as you would expect.

The Celts are gang rebounding better lately. They don't necessarily grab the boards any better, but they're tipping them to teammates and otherwise keeping the ball alive.

Also, Shaq has pulled his head from wherever it had been; and he's shooting the bunnies better too. Not the freebies though.

Kids just got home a bit ago from Syracuse shopping

Here is what Marcus got. I think they glow in the dark. Perhaps it is to blind the kid that is guarding him. I have no clue but Christmas money burns a hole in a kids pocket!
