Wafer's been very consistent in (1) being very aggressive and (2) playing within himself. I really like his driving and dishing game.

I like Wafer out ahead on the fast break. Big chance for him the next couple of weeks.

Perk has played all but 3 minutes of this game. Doc obviously wants Perk and Davis in there together against this big Lakers lineup.

Rebounds 20-14 Lakers. That is going to have to change.

Celtics lead is just five now. Yeah, we are ahead, but losing the rebound battle. Pierce has three fouls and is shooting up bricks, and Nate is hurt. Lots of bad indicators

Rosallie,

I never knew I had any wisdom, wait till I tell my wife!

I was thinking about you the other day and wondered how that Maxwell ball looks in your home?

The fact that I have been scarce has nothing to do with lack of desire, just not been home when the games have been on.

How is everything in Waltham these days? I miss the folks I used to work with there.

All doing well here thanks, I hope the same is true there. I would think it's pleasant as usual down in Florida. After this winter you couldn't find much better confirmation you made the right move by heading south!

NY,

From a weather standpoint you are right. It has been great!

BTW, I have not forgotten the high stakes mini golf challenge, so, you better get down soon as Prates Cove is calling your name.

Rebounds don't mean so much when the team with the rebounding advantage isn't doing a lot with the ball when they grab rebounds. Lakers only shooting 44% to 51% for the Celtics. Lakers have 9 turnovers compared with 3 for the Celtics.

If focusing mainly on stats rather than the score (where the Celtics also lead by 7), one should consider the entire body of stats.

The Maxwell ball would love to have a Ray Allen sidekick!

All is well, loaded with snow everywhere, side streets are hard to get down! The kids have already had five days off. I am ready for spring, health for our injured players, and a visit to Las Vegas in April! I have a friend who was in Vegas in June of last year, and he bought me a ticket for the Celtics to win the championship, 12 -1 odds. Hope he can cash it in for me when he goes back in June again!

Good to hear from you!!
