For the final contest of the regular season, total number of points scored by both teams combined. Just one figure—combined point totals.

Winner gets $10. Exact figure gets $20.

Entries must be submitted before the 4th quarter begins. Change your entry as many times as you wish prior to that deadline.

We need at least five entries to constitute a valid contest.

No duplicate entries allowed. In case of a tie, the higher figure wins.

Good luck, everyone, and Go Celtics!

Evening gents, and Ros!

More big minutes for the bench tonight. Hope it bolsters their confidence for whatever their role is in the playoffs.

So far 2 missed dunks but greens at leat went thru the rim BUT to be a legal FG it has to pass completely thru the net, guess he needed to duck!

Evening all.

End of the regular season.
or
End of the regular season!

...depending upon how you feel about it.

No one anyone has heard of playing tonight, but an old school Celtics vs. Knicks round 1 coming up. Should be fun.

Like the movement on the offensive end. The ball is never in one spot for long and neither are the players!

At least in NYS high school ball coming down with your own missed air ball shot is NOT a travel. Not sure of the NBA however but i'd think it would be the same

Couple of oddities involving Jeff green tonight.

Just before tipoff he went out to thank the crowd for their support this year. I would have thought the Captain would do that. Next he dunks, it goes completely through the net, hits him on the head and bounces back up through the goal and out. No basket?

It looked like the Captain was really enjoying Green's "moment."

I don't know what the rule on reviewing shots is, but that's exactly what happened.

I really get a kick out of watching the bench lately.

Evening folks,

I was just going to watch a few minutes but I'm having so much fun watching up-tempo BB that I might stick around for a while longer.

Certainly is refreshing to see the ball being puxhed up the court.

this game is fun so far! Everyone is getting in the act! I don't know where Bradley is getting this shot from but he looks good tonight. Usually he drives me nuts shooting every time down the floor and missing.

Section I-Scoring

a. A legal goal is made when a live ball enters the basket from above and remains in or passes through the net.

Not sure if Greens dunk actually went completely thru the net, if it did it should have counted.

Just checked the rules on the Air ball shot.

In the NCAA and HS federation rules once you shoot it is considered a loose ball and anyone can recover it. HOWEVER in the NBA if the shooter is the first to recover his air ball miss it is a travel! So I guess the refs got one right. first time this year!

61 points at the half!

Of course it's the Knicks and without Melo in there the D is soft!

there was write up on the Celtics Blog about the future of the Celtics next year.

How many of you feel that the big three will retire Celtics? or have their rights be traded away before they officially retire? I know we have been down this road before and Danny has said he would never let what happened during the Bird era happen again, but I can't fathom him trading KG or Ray next year. Am I crazy???

Looks like an 8 man rotation tonight with about 25-35 minutes for all.

3 guys in double figures at the half and 3 more with 8 or 9.

Tough one to consider. But riding Bird, Parish, and McHale into the sunset set us back a lot.
