Lots to say later, but for now I think the only thing to say is Congrats to the Heat.

I let my Little Leaguer stay up to watch it with me after we got back from his game (Michael and his team did great and we won beat; thanks for asking).

It was an opportunity to show that sometimes champions do lose and make way for the future. I was glad to see both teams give credit where it was due and put on an excellent display of sportsmanship afterwards.

You never know who's watching. I'll thank both teams for setting an example of how to win and how to lose. I know one 7-year old who saw a good lesson in dignity and grace.

Wow. Ugly finish to an unlucky year. Youth is served I guess. James seized the moment and the Celtics shrunk from it. Hard to watch. I wont congratulate the Heat. To hell with them. BUt I do want to thank all the mods who made this place possible. Sam's is a great place for Celtic fans and its been truly great to get to talk hoop/ life with yall. It seems to me that this version of the Celts are done. Doc will prolly leave and everyone is just too old. With a few tweaks we can still compete but the days of us being legitimate contenders for the title just sadly ticked away. This team with kg ray and paul just didnt have any damn luck at all with their health. Thats what sucks. But we did get to enjoy a sweet ass victory over Kobe and Phil. A title. Those are hard to come by and truly hard for the Celtics in the last 20 something years. That title was worth a ton and the team conducted themselves like Celtics. Cheers to you all. It was a sweet ride. With one or two breaks it would have been sweeter but the gamble with older players was just that a gamble.

You may be ready to give up, but I am not. I want another ride with these three guys. Let's build youth around them, and Rondo. I believe Green will be a keeper too. Baby, on the other hand, sounded like a player thinking of other places. I am glad to say that you are probably wrong about Doc, he said he is leaning strongly toward returning with this team, that he is a Celtic, and that he wants to probably come back.

A few breaks and it would be a little different. We will be looking for a center probably, and a supporting cast. I doubt Murphy will be around, if I were him I would be wishing I had signed with the Heat, he never got to play playoff b=ball at all. Doesn't sound fair to me.

I never give up or i wouldnt be here. But the core guys are getting too old to win it Rosalie. I'll pull like hell for them and who knows with some good health. I think we can be very fun to watch but I just dont know if we can beat these younger teams any more.

If Doc is coming back that is great great news. Very glad to hear it. He is a great great coach and just perfect for these guys.
