28 rebounds by Denver, 8 offensive vs 12 and 1 for us.

Wow. Can't win games like that.

Actually after going to bed at 5:30 A.M. I awoke at 9:30 and couldn't sleep anymore although I was half dead. Then fell asleep at 1 P.M. and woke at 5 missing the warmest, sunniest day we've had since last fall.
It's not always that bad. I had no intention of watching last nights game but I had a slight 24 hour virus that kept me awake most of the night.
I've been a night-owl all my life but this is ridiculous.
Fortunately, being a pensioner I don't have to worry about getting up for work, just getting up for life!

Anybody else noticing that Bass is hesitant taking it to the hoop? Double pumps and/or dribbling instead of taking it straight up ala Perkins.

Berlin, I'm pretty much of a night owl myself, but I don't envy your sleep pattern.

This is THE worst game I've seen Bass play. He's invisible on offense and defense.

Well this is just to painful to watch, especially at this time of the night, so I'm off to bed. Good luck guys, maybe you can root them home.

I cannot believe how bad we look on both ends of the court.

down by 12 after 3.

Terrible.

Not liking anything about this game. Not our effort, not our movement, not our defense. Nothing.

I used to hate it when Pierce fiddled and diddled and took a predictable prayer at the end of quarters. How I hat it when Rondo fiddles and diddles and take a predictable prayer at the end of quarters. There's absolutely no reason why most last shots have to be low percentage ones.

Is it possible that this team, with its longtime veterans, is now uncoachable by Doc? Is it possible that they are so sure they know what to do they don't listen to him anymore?

I'm noticing some very fundamentally flawed play by our veterans out there.

That could have been the single worst play I've ever seen a point guard make. At least in the top 10.

The weird thing is that, if they would just get their heads in the game, the Celtics could actually win this game.

I was talking about the play where Rondo was posting up, just held the ball for nearly ten seconds, and they passed it crosscourt and out of bounds.

If I were Denver, I'd demand a recount of the score.

Nice posting with Bob and Berlin (and anyone I missed). Tough loss. I'll go to sleep tonight wondering how the Celtics possibly made it so close.
