Game-On! Spurs @ Celtics - November 21, 2012

If this were the old days, the Celtics would not have one assist. I don't believe there has been one Celtics pass resulting in a hoop without a dribble.

im making a combo for tomorrow, a freind specificaly requested my cheesecake so im making her some, and another desert called dirt cake. my wife over the summer went back to being a vegatairan for abot a week mebbe, then went waco on my totaly by going vegan, so now nothing i cook or bake is something she will eat.

The Spurs are so methodical. Their first thought on virtually every possession is to get into the paint. With the Celtics, getting into the paint appeaars to be a very distant afterthought (at the very best).

they know where each other are going to be, they do it very easy. Just what is it that the Celtics just don't see --the stat's are the same every game. I know we are lacking a good big, other than Garnett, but no one follows their
shot at all

Pierce is definitely playing a good game tonight, he looks comfortable out there, more so than the past few games

Parker operates from inside-out. He routinely gets into the paint, attracting double teams. He's very often passing to a man who's coming toward him and is, therefore moving toward the hoop.

Rondo operates from outside-in. His assists in the halfcourt are very difficult because the inside guy he's passing to has no momentum going to the hoop. They're facing away from the hoop to get the pass. That's why so many of the Celtics' inside baskets are on one-on-one moves.

who is this guy Splitter? He is all over the court

He's been around for a while. I believe he was an excellent player on the world stage from South America and was somehow stashed away by the Spurs until they needed him. I'll defer to all the others on this thread as to the accuracy of that statement, but I believe it went something like that.

Tough game to lose but very easy to analyze the main reason. The Spurs took it to the hoop, and the Celtics didn't.
