ALL STR BLLOT

Has anyone gone on line and looked at the all star ballot? I was on there today and I cannot find Rondo's name anywhere. This is crazy. I checked and double checked, his name is not there, at least not on the list I was looking at which was the voting list.

Being a huge all-star fan (NOT), I went to http://www.allstarnba.es/ballot/
and found Rondo's name on the list. They force you to become a "member" of some organization in order to vote. They they present the front court players (vote for three) and back court players (vote for two) separately. After I joined (being careful to UN-select the box authorizing them to inundate me with spam), I voted for three front court players. Then I tried to access the backcourt players and was told I had already voted during the past 24 hours and would have to wait until tomorrow to "vote again."

They encourage people to vote every day to increase their chances of winning something or other. So some grasshopper who knows virtually nothing about basketball but has no life except to sit around and push buttons every day can have 30-50 more chances than I to vote. Democracy in action!

Maybe there's another site where one can just vote without being subjected to all the marketing drivel, but it wasn't readily apparent to me.

By the way, the five Celtics on the ballot are KG, Pierce, Rondo, Terry and Green. There's also an opportunity to place write-in votes.

I am not a visitor to the site listed on Celtics.com, but today I was doing nothing while watching the Patriots try to hold on and win this game! I did not realize you had to join something, just more email coming daily that you go crazy deleting! What a sham, It is funny because Garnett, Pierce, GREEN, and even Courtney Lee are there. Oh well, I am not much of an all star fan myself, it is just a popularity contest, and there are people out there who have nothing to do with themselves but go on there day after day and vote in whoever they want. Talent alot of times never gets respected.
