This Celtic team that looked to have so much promise (not the diet butter) in mid October has fallen far short of our expectations. It reminds me of the Smokey Robinson & The Miracles hit from the 60's, "The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage." Ray Allen's the one NOT in need of laughing gas at this point. I said weeks ago to give Melo playing time with the Varsity. I also wanted Blatche over Collins. This year is trying our patience more than judges and lawyers try court cases.

All in all I am glad they moved on without Allen. He would not have done well on the Celtics and would not have contributed as we would have hoped for. He only looks good because he is on a Miami team with younger players and younger legs who can create that extra space for him.
