Re: Fab Melo did it again
Sam,
Happy New Year to you.
So it sounds like we're in agreement. Is that correct?

Outside,
Unless I'm missing something, we're definitely in agreement. My point was that my definition of continuity represents a condition that—applied to a basketball team—is more of a cause than an effect. I don't consider discontinuity synonymous with chemistry, although discontinuity can certainly be a major cause of poor chemistry.
Happy New Year.
By the way, do you or anyone else know the official cutoff date for wishing people Happy New Year? I some years, I've found myself still saying it well into February. (I think I need to work on greeting people.)

sam,
The official cutoff date for wishing people Happy New Year is January 15th. All well-wishes offered by that date are guaranteed for the calendar year 2013. Any offerings made after that is considered tampering with next year's.

Bob,
That's as good a definition as any. Why didn't I think of that?
Thanks,
Sam

[checking the calendar]
Happy New Year!
Hmm. Seems a little late, but BobH says it's okay, so I'll go with it.
Actually, I answer the phone with a "Happy New Year" through about the first week of January. In honor of Bob, I'll go a little later this year.

Outside, in case it wasn't obvious, I believe Bob mentioned the 15th (tongue in cheek) because it's the date when virtually anyone on the Celtics team can be traded.

Steemer played years on a pro level before reaching the NBA. Fab needs much more experience and coaching.
