Moral of the story: If Doc manages minutes during the game, winning the first OT is easier. Or you could even end the game in regulation.

What a gritty win! We have a team with the will to win.

Still I was disappointed that we fell back into a lot of old habits. The beautiful old-time Celtics ball was not much in evidence tonight.

Beating Denver though shows that this team has tons of potential.

Everyone's entitled to his or her opinion. My opinion is that I'd hate to quit on the Celtics and getting down on individuals before the game's over. Paul Pierce made at least half a dozen key plays on offense and defense that normal players don't make. Some were subtle; others were mentioned by Mike or Heinsohn. Yes, he had a bad shooting night, and so did KG. How did they do in the third, and FINAL overtime? Can anyone on this board tell me seriously that this team wins this game without those two?

Anyway, nice posting with everyone.
