This is KG's Last All-Star Game?
Here are two tweets, one from Mark Murphy of the Herald and another from a Chicago writer.

Re: This is KG's Last All-Star Game?
I'd say it's a good possibility. He is ninth all-time for regular season minutes played at 47,000+ and has nearly 5,000 more playoff minutes. He's playing at a higher level than I thought he would after his knee surgery a few years ago, and he might very well want to go out playing at that high level.
He's right -- we don't know what he knows. He "brings it" every night, and that level of intensity is so hard to sustain. That, combined with what he has to deal with physically, would be more than enough reason to call it a career. Most people have no idea what he goes through to continue to play. Frankly, I was surprised he came back this year.

After this season I am sure he will be worn out.
DA has done a lousy job getting quality big men. His rent a big man strategy has backfired more than once.
KG is forced to play center and bang with bigger more physical centers.

After listening to the interview (thanks gyso for the link), I'm not so sure that he's referring to retirement. He might be, but he might just be saying that I'm done with all-star games after this one. I certainly couldn't blame him if he retired, but I'd love to see him keep playing as long as he's healthy enough and still has the fire.

Lets hope he still has fire and passion to play out his contact.
He may not have the same stamina but no doubt kg has been balling his entire career.
He is an amazing athlete and a tremendous team player....

hes as close to Bill Russell in body type and spirit of perhaps any player since the great Bill Russell himself, still showing how great he can defend now and his whole career, and the last few seasons hes done it without Perk, and hes still that huge impact defensive presence.....okay sorry he curses alot more than Russell.

Lets enjoy him, guys like KG, Duncan, Shaq, Olujuwon are once in a generation big men, these guys were as great in their era and impact to be in at least the conversation of a Russell and Chamberlain, who were obviously there first. I just wish Shaq could have stayed healthy that one last year he was with us, then if we had kept Perk with that older Shaq that could pull out one more healthy season.....we'd have gotten 18 that year.
