Thanks for asking Sam,

I have an appointment Monday morning to check out the arteries in my neck. I seem to be improving little by little each day.

Woodson is coach of te Year; Grunwald GM of the year. Danny should have picked up a point guard in the off season.

This season's difficulties fall largely on Danny's shoulders. I'm his biggest fan, but he needs to step up his game for 2013-14.

Agreed Worchester. BTW, is his job on the line or is he secure?

I was surprised when Doc got a long contract extension because it seemed to me at the time that Doc and Danny had not been on the same page for some time. This season has reinforced my impression. In spite of the horrible injury history this year I feel that Doc never gave any chance to any other concept than small ball.

Goodnight all.

So who's rooting for who now that we are gone.

Chicago and Tommy T. that's who I am pulling for.

Nice job by all in posting.

I'm rooting for for the Celtics. Why should I change after roughly 5,000-5,500 games?

IF the Celtics happen to lose this series, then I'll be rooting for the Celtics and hoping all the teams remaining in the playoffs lose all their remaining series. And, instead of wasting my time watching one second of those series, I'll be doing something that's actually fun—like having all my teeth extracted.

By the way, I'm still rooting for Sam Snead to win the U.S. Open, and he's been dead for 11 years. I'm big on loyalty, and I couldn't care less about any teams other than my favorites.

Sam,

I feel the same as you. Games are meaningless once the Celtics are out. I hardly watch games after they are gone. But I would like to see Tommy T. knock off Miami and NY. He brought us great coaching and helped us win a championship. I always feel he is still a Celtic....and I hope he comes back as coach when Doc hangs it up!

112288,

Thibs would be a great coach for the Celtics if and when Doc decides to leave. In the meantime, I'd like to see the Celts hire an assistant coach whose specialty is innovative offense designed to maximize the use of players' talents..

Nothing wrong with having other teams you care about though. I have been a Spurs and OKC fan forever as my 2nd and 3rd teams.
I can still root for teams to lose. Lakers, Heat and now the Knicks. The Knicks haven't ever done anything and get a lot of press. It will be fun watching them take it on the chin.

Berlin-T,

I think Danny needs to be put under the micro scope or on the hot seat by management. Unless Danny is following managements orders to keep payroll down and increase a healthy profit margin, I for the life of me do not understand what Danny is doing.

LISTEN...IF I WAS KG...I WOULD BE PISSED AT DANNY.....AND PROBABLY HASTENED KG'S RETIREMENT!

You do not DUMP the entire defensive load on a HOF who is NOW OLD and who switched positions so as to be a team player and NOT SIGN a credible POWER FORWARD WHO CAN PLAY DEFENSE so as to take the load off of KG, nor sign a credible BACK UP CENTER with SKILLS.

You can see it, KG is BEAT! The whole defensive unit of the Celtics is shreded.

Now for Pierce........HOF but he cannot play the game as he once did. HE IS TOO OLD.....TOO SLOW.......and HAS NO VERTICAL LEAP any more. He can shoot if left open, but that is it, and even then he has no arc on his shots and late in games he is back rimming his shot. He cannot leap to block defenders as he once did. He cannot leap and get good elevation on his jump shots, and he cannot keep up with defenders. TIME FOR PAUL TO CALL IT A DAY.

Now I see Danny repeating the same play book. He is angling to bring back White and Randolf on the real cheap to fill bench positions by signing them to a contract. White...don't know, have not seen him play real minutes. Randolf, played some good minutes and some not so good minutes. His problem, he has too small of a body to play center....not tall enough....not well built......not wide enough in the shoulders. He gets moved around by other bigs.

Perhaps Danny needs a kick in the ass!
