Hi all.

Has anyone noticed Exum yet? I heard them say he was in the game, but hasn't really done much that I've seen. Was looking forward to seeing what kind of player he is after all the hype.

Don't know if they're that bad, but our defense is looking really good tonight.

For those without a feed, Celts up 18 with a little over two minutes to go in the second quarter. The bench is getting extra minutes because they're playing so well (especially on defense).

All I recall about Exum is that he missed the first shot of the game—a three.

Celts are scoring off the charts because they're taking only good shots. It's a pleasure to watch.

If I were a Jazz fan, at this point, I'd be screaming for them to stop taking jumpers and take the rock to the hoop.

Yeah.. I saw him take that shot, then heard them say he had two fouls a while later. Hadn't realized he was in the game Not a good sign.

Celts up 24 at halftime.  Favorite halftime stats:

1. Celts shooting 54% to 36% for the Jazz

2. Celts have scored 17 points off 8 Jazz turnovers

3. Starters are +11, bench is +13.

4. 38 points in the second quarter is their most in any quarter this season.

The Celts' offense is feeding off their defense, the way it's supposed to be.

Prince is my player of the half: 12 points, 3 assists, solid defense in 11 minutes.

Keep it up guys.  Don't let up.

Sam and Rosalie,

Today I called the town office in the town I used to live in in Maine. I had to let them know that we have moved. I talked about not needing to register my dog, about some changes in the land I still own and my new address. The tax assessor said that my land taxes would go up since I bailed out of the state and I was missing the big storm (joking). She also said that the town office would probably be closed tomorrow due to the storm (not joking).

I guess they are getting hammered by the storm along with the rest of y'all! (LOL)

Well I'm glad you and Janie are warm and snug down there. Sally just expressed a desire to return to the Bahamas. Too late. We'd have to swim for it.

They just said that 38 points was the most the Celtics had scored in a quarter this year. I don't think that is correct, they scored 41 or 42 in a quarter earlier this season.

Maybe this year isn't the same thing as this season?

By the way, gyso, that was a very nice post you made on the "lurkers' thread. You certainly captured the spirit of this forum.

Janie just got home two days ago after being in San Antonio since new years day. She was helping out with the new granddaughter from daughter No. 3 while the step-son was playing Army in Kentucky. He got a little of this storm on its way up north. Pretty warm in Texas, more so than here in NC.

It's nice that she is home, she was gone too long for my liking.
