Thomas, and the team, will benefit from a few practices. The offense looks quite discombobulated at the moment.

So, who didn't box out Barron on that board? It was either Crowder or Wallace.

the kid was a total toothpick when he was drafted. I watched a lot of film on him before the draft. I liked him, wanted to draft him if we moved down, but I was afraid he wouldn't be able to handle the pounding. He still might not, he's only just started to play big minutes. We don't know what toll it will take on him.

Atta boy, Jae.  Keep heaving those threes. The perfect decision.

Now THAT'S what I like! Thomas penetrates and drops a nice interior pass to Bass.

More of that please. A lot more.

I believe Isaiah Thomas could become the lead floor general on this team as currently constituted.  He sees the floor well, is a good and opportunistic passer, protects the ball pretty well, and his shooting ability means they can't lay off him.  Nice three point play by Isaiah as I type this.

Evening Folks.

I got the Suns feed. They are interviewing the Suns owner or GM and basically just ignoring the game.

Fellas, that is what the pre-game is for!!

Got caught up int he action, but YOung had some bad D before. Let his man just curl through the lane on him. Didn't even try to cut the angle on him.

Nice look by Crowder to Wallace for the three.  And Crowder sets up a bunny.  He's turning into a point forward.  Jae has 3 assists in 8 minutes, and Thomas has 4 assists in 9 minutes.  Turner also has 3 assists in 10 minutes.  Celts assisting on 81% of their made field goals.

Interestingly, the Suns traded away Plumlee and kept ONLY Len for center.

No backup center on that team.

Thomas' repeated penetrations opened up that 3 for him. His man sagged off him.

C'mon Brandon.  It isn't like you just to watch an opponent drive by you to the hoop.

I'm falling in love with the three ball.  (NOT!)

See, I was right not to go all in on threes.  Thomas just missed one, and they're only shooting 67% from the arc (10-15)

we didn't have to move our pick to draft him, we moved up to get KO, Gobert was there for the taking without moving. He and Favors are really getting a nice chemistry going, as Favors is very athletic above the rim PF. I would much rather have a fearsome twosome at the 4-5 like Memphis or Chicago or Cavs, if I can get two dominant bigs together at the 4-5 I take it over 2 studs at the 1-2. If you have those bigs the other positions don't need to be the best to compete, they just have to be good enough to play off and facilitate the bigs. If my 1-2 are all star caliber, but I can't rebound or defend the paint, it won't matter cause with the 2 little guys and no talented bigs or weak bigs I can't win.....kind of like the Celtics before they got Russell or the C's in early 70's without Silas.
