Brewer is a nice 6th or 7th man.
Boston really doesn't need him if they re-sign Crowder.
They are very similar players.

5 years, $60M.

$12M/year probably isn't a bad price for a legit center, but he doesn't play well alongside Anthony Davis, is a liability at the end of close games due to Hack-a-Sik and is 29 years old.

At this point I say "better them than us". I think Asik's window closed for us anyway.

Shane Larkin to Nets. 2 years, $3M. The #18 pick in the 2013 and a draft day trade to Dallas. Players picked after him include: Gorgui Dieng (#21), Mason Plumlee (#22), Rudy Gobert (#27).

Would have liked Harris on the Celtics. We have a significant hole at small forward and he would have been perfect. We squeaked into the playoffs last year but have a really odd team. Every other team in the league has a player better than anyone we have on our roster. We have a lot of gritty battlers but no standout talent at any position. Unless Danny can pull of a trade with all those assets we have we are destined to be just a middle of the road overachiever.
