Poll- How to Watch A Celtics Game
Poll - How many different ways to watch a game
Since we have so many unique perspectives and depths of knowledge on this site, I've always been curious how everyone "watches" a Celtics game. Technology has changed all of our lives. This isn't the 1970's/early 1980's where the games were on tape delay and played after 11pm with no recording capabilities. Things like analytics have become the buzz words and have added more tools than anyone will ever need or care to know about the game of basketball. We can even now record games and watch them when they are convenient to each of us.
I'll keep this open as far as direction but please select from the options below and add an option if you don't see one that fits yourself. Please go into as great a detail as possible as this may help someone else pick up a new way to get more out of the game than they were previously. Thank you all so much for everything that you add to this site! Hopefully I've set this up correctly. You should be able to choose more than one option if it applies.

I watch the game live. I never record it. I try, whenever possible, to join the Game On! thread so I can see if other peoples' eyes are seeing the same things mine are. It also makes the game more interactive, which makes it more fun than just watching it alone or with someone who isn't as fanatically green as you are.

Watch live, usually on NBA.com unless its nationally televised. Never record. Occasionally go to game on - should go more often.

Watch live. Used to record every game but now that most of the games I watch are on NBA League Pass through Roku, I can no longer record them. If there is a way let me know. Otherwise i can only tape the Nationally televised games, (BTW, If they lose than I don’t rewatch. I just delete.)

I watch games on NBA TV, TNT, ESPN and ABC. Those channels are all on my YouTube TV pkg. All games are set to record.
I also have NBA Team Pass directly from NBA.Com. The app is on my TV's but I could also watch on my phone, computer or my ipad.
They automatically record all games. You can choose the home or visiting team broadcast. The recordings are commercial free with an option for a truncated game or the full games.
Youtube TV provides unlimited recordings with a maximum of 6 months storage.
Ktron I also use my Roku device but I did not go through them for my Team Pass link. I use the Roku device but none of the apps that they offer.

This is very interesting. Thank you all for posting.
I do watch League Pass for my games. Up until this season, I would record all the Celtic games and would go to my phone and check the score along the way. If the Celtics won, I'd go watch it and skim passed the commercials. If they lost, I'd probably delete the game and never watch it. I know. Terrible. I'm getting better this season. Now I'm watching still recording the games but I'm watching them delayed by 45 minutes to an hour so I can blow passed the commercials and finish live. But I'm not checking the score along the way on my phone!
Following my method from last year with all the losses and you could see my frustration with $200 League Pass! So now I'm becoming a little more reasonable!
Thank you all for participating. This has been very informative!
