Hawks sign Dwight Howard to 3 yrs 70.5 million

How will this affect Horford? Dwight wouldn't sign unless he was starting (nor would Atlanta pay him those dollars if he weren't). Does this mean they know Horford is leaving????

Some are saying this is damage control, and that Horford is going to OKC (say good bye to KD dreams if true). Is OKC in a position to sign Horford???

Well, they got neither. But they do have Evan Turner at the bargain basement price of $18.8 million a year until 2020.

For me, much better that Howard is now in Atlanta than in Boston.

Who knows? Perhaps he still has something left, and it may come out in his "hometown", but also more likely that he continues down the trail that he has shown for the last few years where his skills and performance decline even further.

And Kent Bazemore returns to the Hawks for 4 years $70 million.
