I was a fan, but not a huge fan of Pouty Paul. That is, until KG and RA showed up. The way he maintained his leadership was awesome, but seeing Paul out there smiling and enjoying himself playing the game of basketball was even better. I hope he will show up in Boston like so many others do. He is a true Celtic legend and I'm looking forward to seeing his number in the rafters for decades to come. Congratulations on an awesome career and thanx for the memories!

I doubt that I will ever be able to stop talking about Paul Pierce as a Boston Celtics legend.

Overachiever with brass balls, shame that team didn't win multiple titles....but look at us now !!! very classy the way he accepted trade to Nets saying if he was GM, he would make that move too. Gonna miss him, soo enjoyed his whole career.

He earned his spot in the rafters. 
  As a Celtic legend he was here for the good and the bad, which is somewhat unique,  not a lot of the others went through rough times like he did.
