How Many Playoff Games Will The Celtics Win?

How many playoff games will we win this year?

11 .. They will lose in 7 to the Cavs.

My vote is 2 due to IT sisters death. He will miss at least 2 games and could drastically affect him mentally.

As all the scouts are saying, stop IT and you stop the Celtics as people are not putting much emphasis on Crowder or Horford to pull the Celtics through when IT is bottled up.

Chicago could be dangerous even before this.

Back then the first round was best-of-3. He beat the Lakers in 1981 2-1. Then he went 7 vs Spurs, then 4-1 vs the Kansas City Kings and then lost in 6 vs Boston. So he actually went 2-4-4-2.

I would love to say 16, but realistically it just does not seem possible. I am not even thinking about IT's sister, if they are supposed to be that good a team, they should be able to win a couple of games without him.

That being said, there are still holes on this team, and some real questions about certain players and how much we can rely on them. If, all of a sudden, everyone started to play the way Brad wanted them to in September, then maybe we could shock some people. But, from what i have seen in the last month, no way this is going to happen.

Next year....that is a different story

Bob in 1983 he said "fo-fo-f0" sixers got a first round buy and did not play the best of three,  they then went 4-0 4-1 and 4-0 to win the 83 title sweeping the Knicks and Lakers and losing just 1 to the Bucks in the east finals...remember that year well as it was the year the Bucks swept us.

Sadly, it's impossible to venture a guess not knowing what effect the unbelievable tragedy Isaiah has to deal with and what it will do to his availability and mental state.  

If this hadn't happened, I would think 9.  Don't see us winning more than one game vs Cleveland once they right that ship.  And I'm very worried about a second round match-up with probably Washington.

With all due respect, Moses said 4 4 4 in 1983 and the 76'ers actually went 4 5 4. Phillys last championship.

One thing for sure - That was an outstanding 76ers team that year - who had both the Celtics and Lakers to contend with.

I was the only one who correctly picked 9 in predicting the number of playoff wins we'd get. I thought in the first two series we'd struggle but we'd still win, and then we'd get a game off Cleveland and lose that one in 5.  

I await my prize. Or at least a woo hoo from someone. Never thought we'd play so badly at home in this series though. I thought we'd split the first two games at home and then lose the next three, but still lose in 5.

Hate losing to Lebron in the playoffs. This is now four times in a row after beating him the first two times. I really don't have a rooting interest in the Finals (or a prediction) as I really detest both teams.

Thanks Bob. Not happy to be right. Wish we could've extended this Cavs series and make them sweat a lot more.

I'm a hard headed sob, I'm going on record for 16 for next year too.

Meanwhile I hope the Warriors rip the cavs to shreds
