There is a discussion by the mods (or key contributors, I'm not sure exactly what they are, maybe both) at Celticsblog about this, I thought I'd transport the discussion here and open the topic up for everybody.
Assuming that all rookies currently under contract are still here, who do you believe will be the biggest impact player OTHER THAN TATUM?

With Theis I think being the oldest and most experienced I voted for him. My hope is it is Zizic but I think he will need a year or two to make a decent contribution.

I agree with bobC, but I think Ojelaye could be a wild card.

I voted for Yabusele. He has a mature offensive game. He can score from distance. He can take the ball to the rim. He has a good intermediate game as well. The big question seems to be his defense yet he has the skill and athleticism to play solid team defense. He has a chance to be a special player in this league and his 1st NBA season will make him a fan favorite with the way he plays the game. He is ready to contribute as are all the players on this list. Brad is going to have to play several rookies this year. I think that Guerschon, DTheis, and Zizic will be given a real opportunity to be a rotation player. We need Bigs. The good news is that with the Celtics playing a space and fast pace style of game, the C's will need fresh legs all season long. I am so looking forward to this season and my first League Pass in a number of years.

I voted Zizic then remembered we signed Baynes.....so it won't be him unless there are injuries.
to be honest I doubt any of them get much playing time other than Tatum, who may only get around 12-1400 minutes himself as a rotation player.
if anyone on that list plays more than 500 minutes I think we'd be dealing with injuries somewhere.

I am with KDP in thinking that most of these guys will not play enough to make a real big difference without injuries to some varsity players. They might actually be playing more to show that they do not belong for 2018-19 than contributing for 2017-18 although I hope that I am very much mistaken with that thought.
It is nice to see that some of our very veteran members each pick a different guy as that could mean that all of these guys may eventually help us in some way. Of course, the entire pool of these young guys could completely wash out as well. Kind of like Jordan Mickey and James Young did. We need to remember that guys like Thomas and Draymond Green who got drafted in the second round and have succeeded probably more than anyone expected are much more rare than a first rounder who reaches those same high levels.
But, to get back to the poll--I think that Zizic will help the most this year as he certainly showed in the summer leagues that he was very willing to catch on very, very quickly. He performed like two completely different players from his Salt Lake games to his Las Vegas games. And, certainly, his primary skill is still what our team needs the most.
