He's having such a phenomenal year I thought I'd start a thread dedicated to him. Kyrie has more talent, Tatum might become a greater star, Jaylen Brown is the better athlete but Al Horford is glue. Danny and Brad knew exactly what they were doing when they went after Al. Many of us thought he was just bait for KD, but they knew better.

Horford is playing so much better than last season. More forceful, confident, quicker, faster, leading better, etc, etc. He certainly appears to be much more worth his mega salary compared to last year to even include his playoff performances last Spring.

The question I have is WHY?

He is a year older and age supposedly slows an athlete down?

The roster is nearly completely new to him. How come it took him a full season to get acclimated, but this year he hit to floor flying.

He claimed to love working with Thomas last year, but now plays above and beyond with Irving?

So many questions, but such a great start to his personal season. If answering the questions will slow him down, forget all questions.
