The Celtics tip off tonight at home against the Charlotte Hornets in what will be their 15th and final game for January. The Celtics have won 6 out of 7 with the only blemish being a tough 4 point loss to the Warriors. Overall Boston heads into tonight's game sporting a 10-4 record this month.

The standings are likely to tighten up with Boston 2 games back of the Pacers and only one back from Philly in the loss column. The Bucks and the Raptors continue to jockey back and forth for the top spot.

The Celtics should be able to win this game as the Hornets road record is a really poor at 7-17. However they are still in the playoff hunt and have every incentive to play hard. Cody Zeller is out with an injury.

Kyrie is still bothered by a hip injury and will miss tonight's game. Rozier likely gets his 2nd consecutive start.

The Celtics need to get Hayward more involved in the offense but first they need to let him touch the ball. That would be helpful.

Yeah, last night was a wasted off night for the Celtics. PHI and MIL both won not moving closer to the Celtics loss record. Let's hope we don't fall asleep at the switch tonight and go down another game in the loss column.

db,  no doubt this not the time for screwing around.  There is no time to consider an itchy finger., garlic hanging in the closet, walking under ladders or stealing religious artifacts.

It is time to play Celtics basketball.  It is time to win.
