Why Boston Celtics wing Jayson Tatum is missing at the rim (video breakdown)

Not sure how John Karalis is but - 4 games in....the kid is averaging 21 and 8 and looking like an all star.

This thread started as a thread about Tatum finishing at the rim and then evolved into much more. I think some comments about him finishing better are valid yet that is just one aspect of his game.

He looks on the verge of becoming an allstar. I think he will comtinue to improve all around but some only see where he is now and not where he is going.

Jayson Tatum can still be a great player with his big 3 point shooting and improving his mid range game, he might never be the finisher that Pierce and Carmelo were, doesn’t have the balance/strength in traffic. If he patterns his game after Alex English and gets near that level, he’s still a lethal scorer and HoFer.

How great was him high 5ing Paul Pierce? Can you imagine Bird hitting one of his daggers and high 5ing Hondo or Russell...??? That woulda been the bomb!!
