Klay Thompson Out for the season

Golden State’s Klay Thompson has suffered a season-ending Achilles tear

Wow.  That's the RIGHT Achilles.  He's just now coming back from a LEFT ACL injury.  He'll be 31 in February, only 5 months younger than Kevin Durant, who also had an Achilles.

The expiration dates on these two players' careers has started ticking.  Kobe had Achilles tears and he was not the same player when he came back from them.  Granted he was already older than these two but, nevertheless, it is a career-threatening if not ending injury.

might be time to spend some of that big money and find a new career.

2 years away from the game is an eternity especially for a guy over 30. I hate to see great players have their careers cut short. I hope he can get back in a year. He still should be able to shoot but he may never be as good as an on the ball defender.

This is really too bad, such a talented kid, this is the beginning of the end of his career. What a shame GSW really thought they were right back in it, now????

That really sucks. I was hoping GS would trample over Lebrun and the Lakers.
Hope he’s able to get back on the court eventually. He’s got to be one depressed dude right about now.

Cipro is a known cause of achilles tendon problems. Avoid it, especially if you are an athlete. I wonder if KD and Klay took it before their injuries.

Wow! Unbelievable. Talk about bad luck. Well, there goes one team out West that could have stopped the Lakers this upcoming season.

Such a great player. Very sad. Beginning of the end more than likely.
