Thank you, Danny! We love you, Danny!!
Here's our boy again. What a complete douche nozzle! Have fun BKN!! This is what you signed up for in all its glory!! At least this season you will have a lot of viewers of your games, 99% (myself included) of which will only be watching for the unmitigated, inevitable train wreck that will be coming. This is just the tip of the iceberg boys and girl!

I don't know, it doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me.
If I were a member of the media covering the NBA, I think I'd take up a collection to help pay his fines so he doesn't talk.

Too late, NYCelt. Now (and always) the media sees him as a challenge and they will latch on to him like a pit bull and never let go until he surrenders some/any outlandish statement(s) in their presence!

I guess what gets me is that he thinks what he has to say is that important that he can behave the way he does. When you have a $45 million annual salary and get hit with a $25,000 fine, yeah, you can act like an ass.

The media is stupid. They should ignore him. I would bet that he will come out of the woodwork looking for a mic.

I would fine him a penny the first game, two pennies the second game, four pennies the third game, eight pennies the fourth game.....and so on...............
He would soon be talking to the press I guarantee it.

Some people seek out controversy for no good reason Some people embrace a self notion of victimization.
Danny traded for him and Brad Stevens handed him the keys to the car. He proceeded to drive the car off of a cliff. He was the driver and his teammates were innocent passengers.

Ass Clown Irving will regret this clown act one day. They all do. His ass wouldn’t be making 45 mil if it wasn’t for the media and the TV money. Every athlete, Entertainer etc eventually admits later in their life that if they had to do it over again they would’ve done it differently and he will too. Either way, I Hate the guy and wish him heart failure.

A bit sad wishing heart failure on anyone in my estimation.

Damian Lillard's advice for Kyrie Irving: 'Ky bra do your media sessions'

As Kyrie Irving’s stand-off with the media continues, at least one of his peers seems to be enjoying the show.
The Brooklyn Nets star declared in a statement earlier this week that he is not interested in speaking with reporters this season, earning him a swift $25K fine from the NBA. Even after the league made it clear it wouldn’t let him simply refuse his media obligations, Irving appeared to double down, referring to the media as “pawns” in another statement.
While Irving didn’t want to talk reporters, he did go on Instagram Live on Saturday. The subject of the media predictably came up, but from an unexpected source: Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard.
“Ky bra do your media sessions,” Lillard wrote in a comment on Irving’s feed, followed by three laughing emojis.
Lillard repeated the message minutes later.
“Sir please do your media,” Lillard wrote with the same emoji.
Lillard’s comments likely reflect how many NBA players feel about the Irving drama; not seeing why it’s so hard for Irving to speak with the media, but finding the situation entertaining rather than infuriating like some reporters out there.
We’ll see if Irving ends up taking Lillard’s advice, though that likely won’t change the underlying tensions that created this situation.
Kevin Durant joins in
Irving’s teammate, Kevin Durant, joined him on Instagram Live, and KD started by referencing Irving’s recent media blackout.
“I’m just saying though since you ain’t did no media or nothing so I think as your teammate that I should be asking you the questions,” Durant said.
“OK, that’s fair,” Irving responded. So Durant plowed ahead with his question.
“You told me once we decided to play for the Nets that you needed four post-ups a night — I mean eight post-ups a night, four each half,” Durant said. “I think that’s too much for a 6[-foot-]1 point guard. I think that might hold up our offense. I wonder why you decide to play more of a big than your normal position.”
Irving laughed before answering.
“I feel like my soul tells me I’m 6-11, 7 feet. I’m you,” Irving said. “I’m able to shoot over people that... small guards. I’m not going to describe who the small guards are, but as I got a little older, I felt like I could just shoot over anybody.”
Durant couldn’t stop himself from clowning on Irving.
The two kept going back and forth, until Durant concluded the conversation with “Yeah, we gonna see though. We’ll see.”
It sure is going to be interesting seeing these two players on the same team this season. Actually, if it turns out to just be “interesting” as opposed to the many, many other things that it could be, the Nets will be lucky.

What a bizarre social media exchange between Irving and Durant.
Both of these guys have elite talent. So much for talent. They both lack self control as evidenced by their asinine attitudes.

They’re mocking some of the media folks by asking dumb questions and then laughing and giving dumb answers. Let’s face it, some of the media folks do ask dumb questions but again, these guys wouldn’t be making this kind of cheese without the media and the TV contracts. They’re assholes.I hate that because Durant has always been one of my favorite guys but Covid Kyrie is very contagious.

The media is there to provide information and/or entertainment to the fans who pay these guy's salaries. Kyrie's a head case and Durant is a crybaby child. Eff them.

Impossible wish. The media completely ignore KI. Then we'll see who comes crawling back.
The only reason he has an audience is the media baits him. And plus KI thinks he has something important to say beyond his level of expertise.
