Shelden who?

former Dookie and Celtic Shelden Williams scored 21 point on 7 of 10 shooting against Portland last night, and also grabbed 14 boards in a 109-99 win for Denver. nice outing. his instructions from the coaching staff this year include taking on more of a role in the offense and looking for his shot - a much less limiting role than he was assigned to in his time with the C's. with K-Mart out for "a couple of months" (or something) recovering from another knee surgery, and Al Harrington battling plantar fasciitis, there's an opening for Shelden presently to show whether he can be that contributor the Nuggets are going to need. it's just nice to see our former Celtic having some success, and while of course it's way too soon to be able to tell much, it's a start!
