Celtics Sign CJ Miles

6'6", 34 years old, hasn't played since 2019-2020. This is strictly a stop gap measure. Bringing in a veteran who knows how to play and has a game with a short learning curve.

Teams picking up anyone with a pulse due to big COVID caused roster shortages.

Was the NHL "pause" deal intentional or just part of the schedule already?

My understanding is it was planned, but they started it early due to depleted rosters.
