Jackson's numbers are based upon a very small sample size.  Pritchard has only taken 4 3pt fgas. What this means is that, of our top 3pt fg attempters, are at the league mean (GSW is 15th @ 35.9%) or above except for Marcus Smart, Jaylen and Al. Jaylen and Al are only fractionally below the mean.

If Marcus cools it on all those 3 point attempts and other guys take them instead we could be #1 in percentage. I would like to see Grant and Sam take more 3 pointers.

Our 3 pointers are generated by excellent ball movement, spacing and pace.

Ergo, Marcus should take fewer 3 pointers.

In a perfect world-yes. But if Marcus is wide open (I know, there is a reason for it) he’s going to take the shot and more often than not, he should.
Maybe with Malcolm hopefully playing more minutes future forward this Marcus shooting dilemma will be minimized and a non-factor.

Marcus played a very Smart game against the Knicks. I still am a big fan of his, despite his 28% shooting.
