The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to terms on a five-year contract, including this season, for Quin Snyder to become the team’s next coach, league sources confirmed to The Athletic. ESPN first reported the news. Here’s what you should know:
* Snyder served as an assistant with the Hawks before becoming head coach of the Jazz in 2014.
* He had a 373-264 record in Utah, making the playoffs in six of his eight seasons.
* Synder and the Jazz parted ways at the end of the 2021-22 season.
