Same with Joe.  Mistakes, sure he made some, are you all trying to tell me Ime did not make mistakes last year???  We still have a long way to go, I believe Joe is leaning on the fly.  He is trusting his players to help him and they are.   I got upset at times, but, I was never sorry JT or JB were on our team.  Unfortunately with a performance like Jayson had yesterday, the game Al Horford had yesterday and even in game 6 got lost in the shuffle. Al played awesome, he may be getting old, but he is loving every minute of this ride

I remember him arguing that Tiny Archibald was the Cs best point guard, and somebody else being indignant that he valued Nate more than Cousy. It was a fun discussion to monitor.  I suppose it is rather indelicate to ask, but I'm wondering whether he is still with us, Has anybody heard from him?

Good question. I wish we knew.

Gyso, Pete and I have talked about this and we’ve tried to get in touch with Swish with no success. We know he was older and in declining health. Unfortunately, we only know his approximate location and our only contact was his email account.

If anyone ever had more details, please let us know.

It has been a couple of years since I spoke with Swish on the phone.  He needed some help connecting to one of our zoom sessions that he attended.  He was residing in MA.

I have thought about him from time to time and sent him an email over a year ago but I never got a response. Real nice guy and loooooong time Celtics fan.

I feel that player who grabbed Jaylen should have been thrown out of the game. He was not on the floor, was not involved in the action, that has to be illegal. So many inconsistency’s in basketball lately. It figures it was Scott Foster who made the call.

(I rate it about 3/4's.  The "Reasons" could have been better and the final check box text could have had more thought put into it, but it was good for a first draft.)

Very funny and I’m one of the guilty ones that his play has at times made me rip him….

His play yesterday was obviously excellent. He certainly has the capability to do that. What is infuriating is that it seems that on some nights he’s just going through the motions. He’s a very good player, but to be a really great player he has to be more consistent. No player always plays great. For Tatum to take the next step he has to at least be good every night and great on some nights. He has to consistently show up for the biggest games.

It is too bad that no one knows what has become of Swish, he was around for so long. I know he was not well. God Bless him hope he is ok.

Rosalie, I turned 76 in March. Is it too much to ask for another 10 NBA Championships from the Celts this lifetime?

I have to tell you Worcester, I have had this conversation with a couple of friends. I absolutely HATE getting old!!! Too many things I want to do and know that I have to do them now while I can. I want to see at least a few championships though!! They owe us that, we have hung on thru the worst, best, in between!!!

That 51 piece from JT should make all of us feel a little younger.

JT is going to be asked to do quite a few more ads based on those tv ratings and his stellar performance,
