I would guess Elgin Baylor who averaged 38.3 in 61-62.

Re: Trivia 12/17
Elgin Baylor is one of those players about whom, no matter how much is said, it isn't enough. I would have loved to see Elgin in his prime playing Jordan in his prime mano a mano. I hate one-on-one ball, but I'd make an exception in that case. I personally think some of the gas would have been removed from Mr. Hanes. I know I shouldn't be engaging in this blasphemy because we all know latter day players possess(ed) such superior athleticism to earlier players. And pigs fly. (No analogy intended.)
I believe a "most underrated" team of the 60s would have included: Elgin and Bob Petit at forward, Nate Thurmond at center, and Guy Rodgers and Sam Jones at guard. Not just for their individual accomplishments but because I think they would have complemented one another beautifully. Definitely a five-tool combination: shooting, speed, bruising defense, bruising rebounding, teamwork.
