WELL IT'S OVER.................................

Well it is over........short but sweet ride of 6 years that made a once proud franchise proud again. Never thought it would end up this way............kind of like reaching in to pour a nice cold soda for yourself on a hot summer day only to find that it went flat the day before.

No, I kind of envisioned the Celtics winning one more title.......Ray Ray taking the last shot form a pass by Paul at the top of the key as time ticked off the clock in game 7 with the score tied against the LA Lakers ........and Kevin setting the screen for Ray........................Banner #18.............................Then the BIG THREE calling it a day and career in the locker room and picturing Kevin's  jet racing Paul's  jet into the sunset and the West Coast and retirement.................and Ray taking a bench seat along side Doc.......with thoughts of Ray taking over the Celtics as coach some day.

Rich.....Rich.....Rich.......wake up..........your having a night mare......wake up............OK......OK......OK..........

UGH................reality has set in...............The Big Three Era is OVER...............Ray stuck it to Danny and sought another ring in Miami for less money and less playing time.................Doc is gone to greener pastures thinking ...........THERE'S GOLD IN THEM HILLS..........pack up the family....we're heading to California and leaving a great city and basketball franchise holding the bag...................as well as Paul and Kevin! Ha.......Doc will find out soon it is only FOOLS GOLD!

Well Danny took care of that right quick............no more then 48 hours after Danny's news conference......they were gone!  Cannot blame Danny.........he was dealt a poor hand to begin with........you know ....father time and short window of 6 years as age began to make a difference...........and ego's danced in some players and coaches heads!

Too bad..............what a flat ......like a soda .........ending for one of the greatest....but short lived teams in Celtic History and the NBA..............................................Let me get back to sleep.............I know somewhere there is a dream................of RA......PP.......KG & company winning Banner #19
