BOSTON – As the Celtics embark on an all-important three game road trip beginning in New Orleans on Friday, they’ll have to do it without one of their starters Avery Bradley.
The 6-foot-2 guard has a left elbow strain and will not travel with the team to face the Pelicans.
He sustained the injury in the first quarter of a the Celtics' 85-84 win over Utah on Wednesday.
Without Bradley, the Celtics will likely start Isaiah Thomas, who was recently named the Eastern Conference’s player of the month.
As for Bradley, he has averaged 13.9 points per game this season, along with 1.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds.

well, glad its not the shoulder again.
its that time of year I suppose, Kelly is back and now Bradley is out a bit. and of course Sully gone for the year.
more minutes for Young and maybe Pressey this road trip, I would assume.

It is an A.S. Blakley article. As we know, he doesn't know his ass from his elbow, so why would we expect him to have any understanding about a third part of the anatomy. (LOL)
I believe it is his elbow.
