I've been up and down as a supporter of him, if there was any chance he would be interested in playing here. But this part of the linked article (along with actually watching him play against Houston) has me back on his side. Doc certainly has him motivated with his overall defensive play and he has always been an elite rebounder

key part

ONE KEY NUMBER: 30. That's the net rating for the Clippers when DeAndre Jordan is on the court for them. They are outscoring the Rockets by 30 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor in this series. Without him on the floor, the Clippers are a minus-20.6 per 100 possessions. His ability to play the pick-and-roll in this series has been stellar, and he's taking away a lot of Dwight Howard's ability to play inside or in the post against Jordan.

now things can always change and Howard could outplay Jordan the rest of the series, but MAN how good could Jordan looked popped in the middle of our team right now?
